QUESTION: Have you ever seen the commercials on TV where they show little naked, starving kids in Ethiopia with flies crawling in and out of their noses and eyes?
Did you ever stop to think that about 10% of them have IQ’s above 140?
They simply don’t have the opportunity to develop their intelligence: no chance for education or training of any kind. Actually, there are a huge number of extremely poor children in the U.S., but they all have the opportunity foor school through high school.

I have been teaching in Mexico for the last ten years and I find a huge number of children like that here.
In Mexico, there exist only three worlds: the world of the wealthy (there are more millionaires in Mexico than in the U.S. and Canada put together, with the richest man in the world now being Carlos Slim who lives in Mexico!), the world of the poor (somewhere between 70% & 80%), and the Huichole Indians who are not bothered by the Mexican government and who are allowed to live their cherished lifestyle in peace on their reservations. 10% of the Huicholes have high IQs as well but feign formal education.
Mexico is speckled with small villages populated by very poor people under the control of the larger nearby municipalities who appoint delegation leaders to handle the everyday problems normal to any village.
The big problem is that these small villages have maintained their lifestyle for hundreds of years with family inbreeding and providing a very inexpensive workforce for the wealthy. And the wealthy enjoy this dominance!
Young girls are becoming pregnant at age 12 – 15 out of wedlock. Not having been raised in a disciplinary environment themselves, they know nothing of raising and teaching their children morality, ethics, responsibility, and respect for others. And even if they have high IQs, their lives are essentially over! Fathers expect their children to begin work in the fields at an early age the same as they did. After all, the fathers have survived and so can the children.
Why am I writing this? What do I care? I retired here with the intention of playing golf every day for the rest of my life and enjoying the jubilation of my life’s toil. But things have changed. I have become heavily involved in an attempt to pass some of the things that have made my life wonderful on to children who want and need my help.
That’s why my friend and I formed THE GOLDEN STRINGS OF LAKE CHAPALA, A.C. We have graduated about 100 musicians who can now go out into the world of music professionally and earn a living.
Yes, I know that there are many more countries which have similar situations, but, I can’t be in all of them (wish I could!) I want to create a nucleus of well-educated people who have come from the lower classes and who can bring their education back to their communities to grow that community into a self-sustaining, self-respecting, disciplined unit. And my desire is to build an academy nearby where the students will live on campus receiving a well rounded education while learning to live and respect other people.
I will need to build a campus with at least two dormitories, three school buildings, an administration building, on-site residences for some of the educators, a gymnasium, several athletic fields, and fencing for the entire area. And I will have to hire determined qualified teachers who think and feel the way I do.
Perhaps you are one of those who would like to change your beneficiaries. You can join me in my quest and we can do wonders with at least some of the children of the world!

You can join my dream. It would be wonderful to have a group of concerned people to help me. But it takes money. Properly done, we will need on the order of $25 Million U.S.
